Today I’m sharing four books from picture books to middle grade books, so there’s really is something for everyone! If you live in the city, you are probably very familiar with these little creatures, but for those who live in rural areas, pigeons aren’t all that common.ĭon’t forget, picture books sharing information that is unfamiliar to kids is a great way to practice early literacy skills. Plus, the money goes to charities which is an awesome perk as well! Keep your eyes open for different characters as they do a few different ones each year.īut, let me get back to pigeons. If you’re not familiar, Kohl’s will have stuffies and books for $5 each. I was even able to scoop up a pigeon stuffie from Kohl’s Cares program.
